Goal Setting

How to Effectively Set and Achieve Your Personal Goals

Pick up any success book, read posts from success blogs like this one, or talk to anyone that has become successful in anything, and a common theme that you will read and hear is that you need to set goals! You should set short term, medium, and long term goals to help you achieve the success that you want. There are essential pieces of the goal-setting puzzle that many people miss. I will explain what these pieces of the puzzle are and they can help you to set and achieve your personal goals. In addition, I will explain how a critical question or self observation can direct you on whether or not your goal is a solid one.

The goals that you set for yourself to achieve any level of success should comprise of at least three types: A short term, medium, and long term goal. Short term goals are the daily goals that you set for yourself. These are the goals that you should be thinking of when you first wake up in the morning and as your head hits the pillow at night. These goals are the daily habits that you do in your life on a consistent, everyday basis. Each day that you go out into the world, you should be expecting to achieve that one daily goal.

Medium sized goals are those goals that you have where you can track them on a weekly, monthly, or quarterly basis. They are the goals that you will accomplish by continuing to meet your short term or daily goals. The daily goals will lead to your weekly, monthly or quarterly goal.

Finally, long term goals are those goals that you can evaluate yearly. Again, the short term and medium goals consistently attained will lead to your overall long term goal for your life. For example, perhaps you are looking to retire early; within the next 1-2 years. You have a business vehicle that will allow you to accomplish that with the right amount of work and effort. Your daily goals may be to network with people on a daily basis and ask or show them how they can be a part of your business team. Maybe it is selling some products on a daily basis. By being consistent and networking or selling a product everyday, you will then be able to meet your medium goal which may be to have a certain amount of people in your business network or a particular monthly sales goal. If you are consistently hitting your medium goals, then over a period of a year or two, you will achieve your long term goal of retiring early! Do you see how this all falls into place? That is why goal setting is crucial to your success. Setting goals helps to steer all of your thoughts and activities into productivity. It is like having GPS for your life. You can follow your daily, weekly/monthly, and yearly goals to direct you where you want to be.

One of the pieces of the puzzle that most people miss are setting proper goals. When I say proper goals, I am not saying that one goal is better than the other, you have to decide that for yourself. What I am saying is that the goals that you set for yourself (short, medium, long) should be attainable with some good effort. There is nothing that will throw you off track quicker in goal setting than to set goals that are just too unrealistic. From the previous example, if you have never networked or sold a product for your business, but you set your goal to meet 10 people per day, you will probably become very frustrated a couple of days into the pursuit of your goal. If you don’t hit your daily goal for 3-4 days, you end up not even trying anymore because it just is not realistic for you to meet that many people right away. So make sure that your goals are far enough out that you need to put in some good, honest work to hit them, but that they are attainable. If you find that the goals that you set are too easy or too hard, you can always go back and adjust them. Just set the goals!!

The second piece of the puzzle is a question or observation that you should make about yourself, and that is: Are your goals forcing you to change? A goal is effective only if it forces you to change. Goals should cause you to stretch and get out of your comfort zones. It will be difficult for you to hit goals without some kind of change on your end. Let the goals help you to become more than you thought that you could be and change for the better! Setting goals and changing can both be scary. However, both are necessary for you to move forward in your life and achieve your personal goals.

Set your goals now! Develop short, medium and long term goals for your life and begin to consistently work toward achieving each of them. You may not hit your goals the first time you set them, but that is okay. For me personally, there are many goals in which I did not accomplish on my first attempt. However, I simply re-set them again and worked hard and consistently until I achieved them. In fact, there are still some goals that I am working on as I write this, but isn’t that what makes life exciting?

Let me know what you did to set and work towards achieving your goals…

Extraordinary Life

6 Steps To Live an Extraordinary Life

Are you looking to live an extraordinary life? Most people want to live a life of significance and happiness in a world that celebrates average and mediocrity. Today, we live in a culture where people will criticize you for having a dream and a desire to get more out of life. Living a life of significance and happiness will make lazy, non-motivated people jealous because you want or are doing something that matters instead of doing nothing and blending in with everyone else. Are you ready to take the next step in your life and start living an extraordinary one?

Here are 6 Steps to live the extraordinary life that you want:

1. Vision: Everything starts with vision! You must see beyond where you currently are in order to live the extraordinary life that you want. It is important to know where you want to go so that you can begin to work and apply daily habits to help you move towards that goal. Those that do not have vision of where they want to go will never get there! It is like being on a rudderless ship, you will be tossed around by the waves, never really going anywhere. Take the time and develop a vision for your life.

2. Have a plan: A plan is essential for you to be able to achieve your vision. If you fail to plan, you plan to fail. If are struggling to develop a plan, see if you can find someone to help you or mentor you. There are tons of resources out there, think outside the box!

3. Risk: To live an extraordinary life, risk is always involved. People may try to steal your dreams, even if they are well meaning. You have to take a leap of faith at times and just follow your heart in order to accomplish your vision and goals. Don’t let others talk you out of becoming extraordinary!

4. Discipline/Schedule: Develop daily habits that will enable you to move forward towards your vision and goals and stick with them. This is not always easy because sometimes you may not feel like doing what you know that you should do. However, it is just as easy to do what you don’t want to do as it is to not take action at all. Be consistent with your daily actions and work your plan.

5. Passion: If you are going to live an extraordinary life, you need to have some passion about you. Your goals and vision should be a dominating thought. Tune out all of the white noise around you like the news, etc. If it will not help you get closer to your goals, do you really need it? Remember this: Garbage in – garbage out. What you put in your mind will come out, so be careful what you watch and listen to!

6. Have a definite purpose: Empower and raise other people up. Do something that will outlive you and enrich the lives of others. Live with no regrets and give it all you have!

You were created for greatness and you have what it takes to make an impact in the world! Living an extraordinary life is more than just trading hours for dollars and living your life inside of a bubble. Step outside of your bubble and make the world a better place to live with your vision; your extraordinary life.

Are you ready to start living out your extraordinary life? Do you want to make an impact and make a difference in your life and the lives of others? If so, click here and join the movement!

Time for change

Why Successful People Embrace Change (And You Should, Too!)

Insanity is doing the same things over and over and expecting different results. Have you heard that before? Many have, yet that is precisely what they do. The same things over and over expecting different results only to find themselves in the same position and unhappy. The only way to break that insane cycle is to change something! Most people hate change because it takes them out of their comfort zone of what they already know. They don’t want to feel exposed or threatened with something that they have not experienced. It is simply the fear of the unknown.

Breaking through this fear of the unknown is exactly how someone can get out of the insanity cycle. They have to be willing to change! With change, anxiety, fear, and mistakes will be felt. However, with change, excitement, adventure, and confidence will obtained. When you overcome the fear of change through takng action, you will see challenges that you had before in a whole new light. If you thought that you could never speak in front of people and then you make changes to your attitude and thought process all while taking action, talking in front of people is no longer a big deal. The key here is that you have to decide to make the changes in order to get different results. We feel like we are already a good person and therefore, don’t need to change. Or perhaps you have a “Well, that is just who I am” attitude. The question that you need to ask yourself is, “Am I happy with where I am at?” If you are happy, then maybe you don’t need to change. If you are not happy with whatever it is in your life, then change is needed and do it now!

The change that is required of you is based on what you want to change the results of. For example, If you are sick and tired of living paycheck to paycheck, you need to change your income options. You would either need to make more money at your job, get another job paying more money, or make some money outside and away from your job. Whatever you decide is fine, but you have to do something. The extra money will not magically just show up in your bank account. It will require a conscious decision from you to make one of these options mentioned above happen.

Don’t be afraid to change. In fact, change is a good thing! It allows us to learn new concepts and ideas, experience new situations and environments. The only way to grow is to change. You cannot expect to move further in your career, be a better family person, or make a difference in the world if you are not willing to change who you are today. My mentor always says that you are either growing or dying, but never staying in the same place. Only you can decide to change.

10 Books Every Entrepreneur Should Read

When I went to college I hated to read. In fact, I always challenged myself to read as little as possible and still get good grades; thankfully it worked! When my wife and I got into our Network Marketing business, our mentor suggested that we get on a recommended reading program. My initial response was that I didn’t like to read, to which he responded, “You need to change your thought process in order to be successful.” Well, since I wanted to be successful and live how I saw my mentors living, I humbled myself and began the reading program. I have listed 10 books that have greatly impacted my life and feel that every entrepreneur should read. In fact, these books will benefit anyone who wants to be more, do more, and make a positive impact beyond just making money. Don’t get me wrong, if you follow the principles in each of these books, the money will come! All of the books will help anyone including the new graduate, seasoned CEO, and everyone else in between.

1. The Magic of Thinking Big, David J Schwartz, PhD

In this book, Dr. Schwartz advises us to set our goals high and have a positive thought pattern in order to achieve them. His book is basically a step-by-step guide on how to achieve what you want by changing your thought patterns and thought habits. I learned in one chapter why people fail and why people succeed!

2. Think & Grow Rich, Napoleon Hill

What can I say? This is a classic! A compilation of Napoleon’s diligent research on some of the most successful individuals in the 1930’s who achieved great financial wealth. He breaks down common characteristics and thought processes that all of the individuals had.

3. Bringing Out the Best in People, Alan Loy McGinnis

In his book, Alan breaks down 12 rules that a leader should follow to motivate team members around him. In addition, it also teaches the reader how to lead and bring out the best in others, hence the title!

4. The Master Key to Riches, Napoleon Hill

Another classic! Napoleon provides a blueprint of a success formula for anyone desiring great success and wealth.

5. How to Win Friends and Influence People, Dale Carnegie

This book is full of golden nuggets. Among them, the reader will learn how to: make friends easily, increase their earning power, make them a better salesman, avoid conflicts and arguments, get them out of mental ruts, and much, much more!

6. How I Raised Myself From Failure to Success in Selling, Frank Bettger

Frank breaks down his personal success methods and principles that helped him become a leading salesman. Ironically, this book is not all about selling. You will have to read it to find out!

7. The Slight Edge, Jeff Olson

I really enjoyed this book. Jeff explains to the reader how the difference between winning and losing, success and no success is a very slight edge. His simple explanation, that it is just as easy to do the things that you should do in order to succeed as it is not to, really impacted me. I think it will impact you as well.

8. The Greatest Miracle in the World, Og Mandino

Written in story form about a publisher who befriends a wise old man and, as a result of their mysterious relationship, receives from him his laws for finding happiness and success.

9. Go For No!, Richard Fenton & Andrea Waltz

A fictional story where a salesman learns how to break through the single most common barrier to all success! A very simple and entertaining read that will have you excited to hear NO!

10. Hung By the Tongue, Francis P. Martin

This small book packs a lot of punch. What I learned in this book is how powerful my words and thoughts are. That what I say is exactly what I get! This book literally helped me change the way that I speak.

In my opinion, these are must read books for anyone who wants to impact others, be successful both financally and in life, become a leader, or just improve themselves overall. Please comment on how these books have impacted you if you have read them or when you finish.

To your success!

Networking

4 Traits Of A Great Networker

Networking is a fundamental part of all success that can simply be defined as the exchanging of information and building of meaningful relationships between people or groups of people. You need people in order to succeed at whatever endeavor that you pursue. There are two main ways to network, either on-line or off-line. Both are effective and both require similar attributes.

Here are 4 traits of a great networker:

1. Be a giver- Don’t network with other people expecting something from them. You should look to offer them something of value that can truly help them. By doing this, you will attract more people to you and ultimately someone will return your graciousness and help you get the information or connection that you need.

2. Don’t be that guy (or girl)- Have you ever met someone either offline or on a social media platform like Twitter or Facebook and the first thing that they do is try to sell or pitch you their product, opportunity or service? I hate that! If you develop a relationship first, the sale will follow or the person will join your business, etc. If someone tries to sell or pitch their product or service right away before they even get to know me, that is a major turn off and they will not get my support. It is critical that you get to know what the person that you are trying to network with wants first before trying to pitch your opportunity or product.

3. Make the effort- If you want to network with someone, you need to make the effort to do so. That means you need to reach out to them whether it is introducing yourself in person, or sending them a message/connecting online. When you introduce yourself, tell them why you would like to network with them. Perhaps they are very knowledgeable about something that you are working on and you want their help or opinion. Maybe they are in a particular line of work in which you are very skilled in, and you want to find out the challenges that they face in order to help them with your service/opportunity.

4. Ask questions- When you have introduced yourself and begin dialogue, you should be asking more questions than talking. People like to talk about themselves so let them talk! Remember, you learn more by listening than you do talking. Asking questions such as, “What caused you to go into business for yourself?” or “What are some of the difficulties that you are having with _____?” These are great, engaging questions that will cause the person you are networking with to open up. When they tell you information about themselves, you can provide them value by offering your product, service or expertise based on the conversation. In turn, they can provide value to you as well; networking is a two-way street.

Networking is done by everyone in any field of work, business, or schooling. Good networkers are able to work smarter and accomplish more because they can get useful information from others as well as work with them to accomplish mutually beneficial success. If you focus on these 4 traits, you too can become a great networker.

To your networking success!

Success is similar to baseball

How Success is similar to Baseball

Baseball is a great game full of rich history and countless memorable moments. It is enjoyed by people of all ages, both young and old, men and women, and by many different cultures. I had the privilege of playing baseball all through my college career and loved it. I was talking to an older gentleman the other day who heard me making some prospect business calls. On one particular call, the prospect that I was speaking to said that they were not open to other ways of making money. When I hung up I made the comment, “Next!” The older gentleman said to me, “keep punching and don’t give up!” We went on to talk about baseball; the upcoming season and how much money some players are making who have had both good and bad years. It was at that point that I thought about how Success is very similar to  Baseball!

How Success is similar to Baseball…

Baseball is one of the few sports where you actually fail more times than you succeed! How crazy does that sound? In Football if a quarterback completes less than 50% of his passes, he is said to not be an accurate quarterback. Basketball is the same way. In baseball If a player gets a base hit 3 times out of 10 he is considered a very good hitter. Think about that, he gets a base hit only 30% of the time. The rest of the time he either strikes out or hits the ball to a defender who catches it for an out. Furthermore, the player who hits .300 will make millions of dollars compared to the player who only hits .200. Do you realize that the difference in the number of times the two players get a hit in 10 chances is 1? One player makes millions while the other player struggles to stay in the Major Leagues. The only difference is literally one hit more! Success is similar to baseball in that you will fail more times than you succeed. There is no other way around it. The problem is that we are taught at a young age that failure is not a good thing. When you were in school, you got graded A, B, C, D, and F. “F” was a failing grade that everyone tried to avoid. But is getting an F really a failure? What if you still learned something? You did not really fail, but you learned something that will enable you to keep progressing to eventually get something other than an “F.” It is in the failures that we learn the most. Failure makes us step back and really evaluate what we are doing and gives us the opportunity to make adjustments for improvements. The people who don’t succeed are the ones who quit because the failure was too much for them and they wanted success to happen quicker. The reality is that people succeed by failing their way there! They fail and then learn from it, or as some people say: try, fail, and adjust.

If star baseball players can fail 7 out of 10 times and still have a great attitude and love for the game, can you fail, pick yourself up, and keep on moving towards your dreams?

I know you can!

Book of excuses

Stumbling Blocks To Success- Are You Guilty Of These?

During my years in business I have both spoken with and networked with many people. Due to the type of business model that I build in network marketing, I interact with people of all ages, education, and positions in Corporate America. Nonetheless, when asked simple questions such as if they are pursuing their dreams or whether or not they look to make money outside and away from what they currently do (school, work, etc), many are looking or want to pursue their dreams. The common response I get from the ones who are not looking or pursuing their dreams are normally one of three reasons: “I am too old/too young,” I don’t have any money,” or “I don’t have any time.” It gets real scary when someone uses all three of these excuses as to why they can’t pursue their dreams or make any money!!

Let’s break down these stumbling blocks to success or excuses, yes I said it- excuses, and find out why so many individuals blindly use these statements without even really stopping to think about what they are saying and if it even makes sense. All they are really doing is regurgitating what they have heard other say to justify where they are in life- plain and simple!

I am too young/too old: In my opinion, this is a crippling excuse. The reason I say that is because you can not choose your age. You start out young and grow older over time. Age is not like attitude where you can choose to have a good one or a bad one. We must all contend with the fact that we will become older whether we want to or not. That being said, it is never too early or too late to chase your dreams. One of the worst regrets that anyone could have is “If I had only tried or done ____.” Don’t let that be you- go out and start chasing your goals and dreams NOW. If you are young and in school, the time to start is NOW!! If you are older and have grown kids and settled into a career for the past 15 years, etc. the time to start is NOW!!

I don’t have any money: I love this one…especially when I ask them if they are open to looking at a way to make extra money. You see, insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. This sounds like a lot of people’s New Year’s Resolution, “This year I will make more money or _____!” What usually happens? They don’t do anything and keep doing what they have always done. Therefore, they keep getting what they have always gotten and end up in the same place year after year. The key is, do not overlook an opportunity to make money because of the fear that you will have to invest some money to start. Now I understand that you may not be able to start a business or make an investment of $200,000 if you do not have a lot of money. But what I am saying, however, is don’t overlook an opportunity to make money just because you don’t have the money now. What if you could get started in a profitable business vehicle for under $200? Do you think you could come up with that amount to make more money? People do exactly what they want to do! The same people that claim that they have no money are the same ones carrying a $400 smart phone around! As the saying goes, “You can’t steal second base with your foot on first!” Go ahead and make it happen to change your financial future and go after your dreams.

I don’t have any time: This has got to be one of the oldest excuses in the book! Listen, we ALL, every single one of us, have 24 hours in a day. Whether we are married with 8 kids, or single and in college, we all get the same amount of time. The key is how we use the time that we have. You will find that successful people are no better than anyone else, they just choose to use their time differently. Take for example, If I told you that I am inviting you for an all expenses paid trip to Europe for 2 weeks, do you think you would be able to find the time to go? The question is not do we have time, but it is am I willing to make the time for my goals and dreams. You must build your life around your goals and dreams rather than trying to build your goals and dreams around your life- they will never come to pass that way. Ask yourself, “How bad do I want it?” You can do anything you want to do, you just can’t do everything you want to do. Whatever you make a priority in your life, you will make the time for.

Do you make any of these excuses? If so, how will you overcome them and get working toward your goals and dreams? Please comment, I would love to hear!!

wealth

5 things wealthy people do that most others do not

In the world, 2% of the population makes an enormous amount of money. In addition to the 2%, there is also a large percentage of the population that is very wealthy and, in many cases, financially independent. In this article I will reveal some of the things that separate the 2%’s from the rest of the population and how they are able to enjoy the kind of lifestyle and success that most people only wish they could live. My wife and I have been blessed to learn these principles from some of our own mentors who have used them to develop great wealth and lifestyle and I am excited to pass them on to you.

Here are the 5 things…

1. They educate themselves: The 2%’s continue to learn and work on their craft. The education that I am referring to is not going to a college campus to learn from a professor that has never done what they are teaching, but instead reading success self-help books and learning from other successful individuals through association. They learn how to work with people and develop great people skills. Many successful people will point to the fact that they learned how to lead people from books, audios, and seminars. They understand that they must continue to grow and learn. After all, you are either growing or dying; but never stagnant. Continued education is a key for these people.

2. They take risks: They are willing to take chances even when others think that their ideas or dreams are crazy. They observe the masses and do the opposite. 2%’s understand that in order to achieve great things, they have to be willing to go against the grain and not simply follow everybody else because it is the safe and popular thing to do. They move from failure to failure in order to help realize their goals and dreams; never quitting. They know that with each failure they will learn something that they needed to in order to move on towards their ultimate destination of success. These individuals literally fail their way to success!

3. They have clear and defined goals: If you don’t have a goal written down, you are like a rudderless ship being tossed about by the waves of the ocean. These folks know where they want to go and have a clear and concise way to get there. Once they have their goals written down, they then come up with a game plan and execute it.

4. They take action: Probably one of the most telling things that the 2%’s do is take action. This is vital as nothing is ever accomplished without taking action. You can have the best people skills, read thousands of books, have goals written down, but if you don’t take action nothing will happen. These people do not wait for everything to be perfect before they take action because there is never a perfect time to do anything. They boldly step out on faith and begin the journey. That is when things start to happen.

5. They believe in themselves: 2%’s believe in themselves and have a great, positive attitude. They see themselves having already accomplished their goals and visions before they actually do! They know that the only thing that can stop them from achieving is themselves. These individuals understand that they are far from perfect and they focus instead on their strengths and skills rather than just on their weaknesses. Because they believe in themselves so much, it is only a matter of time before they succeed!

If you begin to utilize some of these principles, you too can join the 2%’s or live the life that you desire.

12 Things Mentally Tough People DO NOT DO

Being mentally tough is essential for success in any endeavor. I have outlined some actions that mentally tough individuals DO NOT DO. Are you avoiding these 12 things?

Mentally Tough People DO NOT…

1. Waste Time Feeling Sorry for Themselves: You don’t see mentally tough people feeling sorry for their circumstances or dwelling on the way that they have been mistreated. They have learned to take responsibility for their actions and outcomes, and they have an inherent understanding of the fact that, many times life is not fair. They are able to emerge from difficult circumstances with self-awareness and gratitude for the lessons learned.

2. Give Away Their Self-Esteem: Mentally tough people avoid giving others the power to make them feel inferior or bad. They understand they are in control of their actions and emotions. They know their strength is in their ability to manage the way they respond and maintain a positive self-esteem regardless of what is being said.

3. Fight Change: Mentally tough people embrace change and they welcome challenge. Their biggest “fear,” if they have one, is not of the unknown, but of becoming complacent and stagnant. An environment of change and even uncertainty can energize a mentally strong person and bring out their best. They are always looking for change and how they can improve upon the status quot.

4. Waste Time or Energy on Things They Can’t Control: Mentally tough people don’t complain about the news, weather, or other people. They recognize that all of these factors are generally beyond their control. In a bad situation, they understand that the only two things that they can control is their own actions and attitude.

5. Worry About Pleasing Others: Do you know people who are always looking to please others and do not want to “rock-the-boat? A mentally tough person strives to be kind and fair and to please others when necessary, but is unafraid to speak up and state their case even if it is the minority. They are able to withstand the possibility that someone will get upset and will handle the situation, wherever possible, with care and understanding.

6. Fear Taking Calculated Risks: A mentally tough person is willing to take calculated risks. This is a different thing entirely than jumping headlong into foolish risks and chances. With mental toughness, an individual can weigh the risks and benefits thoroughly, and assess the potential downsides and even the worst-case scenarios before they take action.

7. Dwell on the Past: There is strength in acknowledging the past and especially in acknowledging the things learned from past experiences—but a mentally tough person is able to avoid staying in a rut of previous disappointments or past histories. They invest the majority of their energy in creating a future that they want!

8. Make the Same Mistakes Over and Over: You have hear the definition of insanity, right? It’s doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. A mentally tough person accepts full responsibility for past behavior and is willing to learn from mistakes. They use self-reflection as a way of learning from their mistakes and moving on.

9. Become Jealous of Other People’s Success: It takes strength of character to feel genuine joy and excitement for other people’s success. Mentally tough people have this ability. They don’t become jealous or resentful when others succeed. They are willing to work hard for their own chances at success, without relying on shortcuts.

10. Give Up After Failure: Every failure is a chance to improve and learn. Every great entrepreneur will tell you that they experience many failures until success was reached. Mentally tough people are willing to fail again and again, if necessary, as long as the learning experience from every “failure” can bring them closer to their ultimate goals.

11. Feel the World Owes Them Anything: In today’s unstable economy, executives, employees, and entrepreneurs at every level are coming to grips with the realization that the world does not owe them a salary, a benefits package and a comfortable life, regardless of their scholastic skills or last name. Mentally tough people enter the market place prepared to work and succeed on their own skills and ability. In fact, they want to “earn” what they get!

12. Expect Results Overnight: Whether it’s a workout plan, a diet, or starting a business, mentally tough people are prepared to run a marathon towards success. They understand that immediate results do not always happen and that there is a process to go through; a beginning, middle, and an end. They apply their effort and time persistently and consistently celebrating incremental successes along the way. They understand that sowing and reaping is a real, active success principle.

Do you have mental toughness? How have you overcome some of these obstacles in your life? Please comment.

Why Success Is Exciting

I heard a great quote the other day from a former Major League Baseball coach. He was asked a question about the pressure of coaching in the World Series and the decisions that he had to make throughout the series. His response was, “It’s not exciting to succeed unless there is the danger of failing.”

That statement is so profound. We all want everything we do to be a success, right? We want every prospect to purchase a product from us, we want everyone that we speak with to partner in business with us, we want to make an “A” on every term paper, and we want to get that next job promotion. If we succeeded at every single thing that we attempted, as cool as that may seem, I think that we would begin to get bored with life. It is the “danger” of failing that makes it fun to attempt to become successful at something. When you do succeed, the feeling of victory is so much sweeter knowing that you overcame obstacles and faced failure and kicked it in the butt!

Embrace failure. Let it motivate you to become better. Although failure is part of the success process, don’t let it stop you from becoming great. Get excited about your journey to success; the ups and downs, the highs and lows. You will have your own story to tell. Nobody wants to hear someone talk about how they just succeed at everything that they tried and had no struggles or failures. Be the example that other people can point to when they talk about success; know that there is a danger of failing, but succeed anyway!
