Money Matches Your Mindset

Money Matches Your Mindset

Money matches your mindset! You have probably always heard successful people say that success is an attitude or a thought process, I know I have. Did you ever really stop and think about the impact that your mindset has on your ability to make or attract money?

Before my wife and I became entrepreneurs and started building an online business, we were very proficient at the principle that I am going to share with you on how to have money match your mindset and what that means to you. The problem that we had, concerning our thoughts, was that it was the exact opposite of what I am going to teach you! We operated from a lack mentality and essentially repelled money away from us based on the way that we spoke and how we thought about money.

My wife and I are college educated people who did what we were taught to do; go to school, get good grades, and then get a good job. The issue was not that we weren’t capable of making money and attracting it to us, the issue was that we did not know that our very actions and thought process was making money run from us! We started to learn from very successful people and invest a lot of time an money to educate ourselves and change our thought process and learn how successful people are able to attract money and their success.

In this video below, I am going to share how your thought process has basically chased money away from you and how you can begin to get it chasing after you instead! Please understand, that it is not your fault that you have been repelling money away from you. In most cases, you have been raised to think about money in a certain way; most likely that you need to make money, and then save it, holding on to it with everything that you have. It is a thought process that most people have been brought up by. I am going to reveal a couple of secrets that you can begin using today that will help you to begin attracting money to you rather than repelling it.

Watch the video below and learn how Money Matches Your Mindset:

Are you ready to change your financial future? If you are, you must change your mindset about money so that it matches the amount of money that you desire. It significantly changed the financial future for my wife and I when we committed to change our mindset. The great thing about changing your mindset is that anybody can do it, even YOU!

I would like to hear how you have or plan to change your mindset and any feedback that you have. Please share this post with anybody that you feel could benefit from this information.

success principles 101

Success Principles 101

In May of 2014 I had the honor of being invited to be a co-host and participate in a “tweet chat” about Success Principles with Lynette Gilchrist of Young Dream DiggersIn this tweet chat, Lynette asks me some great questions on what Success Principles are and what it is that successful people do differently.

I wanted to share this chat with you so that you can learn what the Success Principles are. Once you understand what the principles are, you can then apply them to all aspects of your life, whether you are an entrepreneur or looking to advance your career. You can take the principles learned and improve every aspect of your life!

We also went on to discuss how successful people think differently than the majority of people. There are certain qualities and thought processes that successful people have learned. The great thing about success is that nobody is born successful, but that success is learned through using the principles discussed in the chat and then taking action! Isn’t that great news? No matter what you upbringing was or where you are now in your life, you can learn the principles and methods of successful people; You can become successful if you choose to!

I appreciated the opportunity that Lynette provided me to expose people to the Success Principles through the tweet chat and the value that she sees in teaching the younger generation the importance of understanding these principles and how they can apply them in their lives.

To see the tweet chat, click on the link below for the transcript of the chat that we did. As always, please comment and leave me some feedback to let me know how these principles have helped you or which principles that you will implement into your life moving forward.

Enjoy the chat!

Who is Your Target Audience in Network Marketing-

Who is Your Target Audience in Network Marketing?

Every business and company has a target audience. If you are watching TV and stick around to see the commercials, virtually every one of them is geared toward a particular audience. It could be a safer vehicle for the young family that has a new born baby, to the hip I-Phone cases for teenagers, to the newest computer or technology for the veteran sales pro. The commercials are all designed to “target” the audience or market who is most likely to need, want, or purchase their products and services

So what about your Network Marketing business? Do you have a “target” audience that needs, wants, or desires your products or opportunity? Before you answer that question, I want to give you a very valuable hint that took me years to learn. Hint: It is not EVERYBODY! When my wife and I started our business, we were told to talk to everyone within a 3 foot radius about our opportunity. It did work to some extent, but do you want to walk around everyday hunting, or I mean, talking to everyone that you lay eyes on? My guess is probably not! It wasn’t until later that I learned that you can prospect everyone, but market to your target audience; speak their language and understand the issues that keep them up at night, and then show them how to solve their issue. That is a key tip right there! If you try to market to everyone, you will get no one!

Are you ready for the answer that can change the way that you build and market your business? Watch this short video and I will provide the answer on who YOUR target audience is and why. Enjoy!

When I learned who my target audience was, it changed the way that I grew my business. It was pretty eye opening at first, but the more I thought about who I needed to target and mold my marketing around and why, it made perfect sense!

If this has helped you, please comment and share this with other business owners who may be struggling to identify their target audience. Also, if you are looking for a way to market and attract your particular target audience for your business, be sure to fill in your information below and learn what and how the big earners in Network Marketing are growing their businesses.

passionate about business

Are you passionate about your Network Marketing business?

When I first started in my Network Marketing business years ago, it was like an unwritten rule that you should not say or give the appearance that you are in a Network Marketing business! Fast forward 10 plus years. The economy has not improved the way people thought that it would and people are going backwards financially every day and every year. Today when you mention Network Marketing to people, they either are not familiar with how it works, or they have a positive spin on it. You can ensure that they have a positive spin on Network Marketing and your opportunity by being enthusiastic and having a passion for what you can offer people through your opportunity that they can’t get with any other business model. There are a ton of benefits to Network Marketing that you can offer people; time, money, low start up cost, etc.

The main thing that you are offering other people is YOU! They will get in business with you because they think that you can help them. This is done by showing a passion for your business. Listen as I explain in this video after one of our incredible information sessions! The crickets in the video were all excited too!

When you are passionate about your Network Marketing business, people will naturally be attracted to you and what you are doing. Since the average person out in the world is not passionate about anything, when they see and hear the passion and enthusiasm in your voice and body language, they will want to know what you know that they don’t.

The next time you talk to somebody about your business opportunity, remember this video and make sure you show your excitement and enthusiasm, and then watch how they open up and show the same excitement towards you. Remember this, light yourself on fire (not literally, haha) and people will gather around to watch!

If this video helped you, please pay it forward and share it with your friends and team so that they can benefit as well. Also, be sure to follow me on Twitter: @ken_cloutier and Facebook: Get Motivated For Success

If you are not in a Network Marketing opportunity or have not found the right one, but are very serious about making some money, I am open to working with a handful of ambitious people. Click on the Join A Winning Team link and we will see you on the other side!

Pay The Price

Pay The Price For Success

Pay the price. Have you heard that saying before? When my wife and I first started our Network Marketing business, we heard many successful leaders tell us and others that in order to succeed in anything, including our business, we were going to have to pay the price. When I first heard that success saying, I really didn’t know what they meant. Did I have to literally pay a price to succeed? Did it mean doing things that I didn’t want to do or believe in? As we continued to build our business and take action to grow it, we came to understand what it meant to pay the price.

Let’s examine what it means to pay the price for your success. No, you don’t have to worry about selling your soul or anything that extreme at all! Paying the price simply means letting go of something of value in order to get what you really want.

Letting go of things that make us comfortable and that we perceive to have value to us is a very hard decision to make. We fear letting go of something that we are used to or provides us security for the opportunity to grow and move on towards our success. If you are not willing to change and let go of what you have always known, you will remain exactly where you are in life. Remember, insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. Are you going insane? The good news is that you can change that! What is it that you have not let go of to advance your success? Do you have a “good job” that you fear losing? However, you know in your heart that you were meant for more and leaving one secure job for the opportunity to use all of your talents and gifts has you fearful of failure. How about old habits that have been holding you back? Do you have things in your life that have caused you to stay stale and stagnant that you know you must change? I am here to tell you that if you are willing to pay the price and change, you will be much better off. Non of us want to live our life with regrets and wondering, “What if?”

Another way that you will pay the price for your success is to give more. I am not speaking of money here, but of your time, energy, and commitment. If you run a business whether it is on line of off line, you will pay the price of time, energy, and commitment. Any business takes time to build and maintain. If you are trying to become a top athlete, you will not succeed by only practicing your craft some of the time. It requires you to put in work every waking moment of your life in order to train and get better. If you are striving for success in the corporate world, you will not succeed to your capability by only working part time. You will have plenty of late nights at the office in order to accomplish more than the average worker at your company. There are birthdays that may be missed, family reunions that you will have to opt out of, and plenty of sleep that will be missed. If you want to succeed, you must be willing to lose out on some of these things now so that you can enjoy the life that you truly want! If you miss a family reunion now, how cool would it be to have your family reunion at your gorgeous estate and invite everyone over, or take your family on an all expense paid vacation where you foot the bill, all because you paid the price and have the success to show for it. Do you think your family would understand that you may have missed a couple of family reunions so that you can spoil them with your rewards from paying the price? Success does not come easy. It takes more than a $1 lottery ticket to become successful. I believe that success is not just about how much money that you can accumulate, but how much better of a person that you become through paying the price of your success.

There are no short cuts to success. You must be willing to pay the price in order to succeed. If succeeding were easy, everyone would be succeeding, correct? In order to break away from the masses, you must be willing to do what they are not willing to do. In many cases, that means change and sacrifice. My wife and I watched as our friends and peers were buying new homes, buying new cars, and going on vacations. We said to ourselves that we would pay the price for a short time and then be able to live life the way we wanted to and be free from a corporate job, able to purchase whatever home, car, or vacation that we want to. The decision was simple, pay the price and live a life of success, or stay the same and live a life of mediocrity. The choice is yours!

Stifle your career and business success

7 Failure Expressions That Will Stifle Your Career and Business

You probably know people who just can’t seem to push ahead in their career or who have never started a business or led large groups of people, they all seem to mimic the same speech patterns. They talk the same negative language. Here are 7 failure expressions that will stifle your career and business that they always use. Identify this negative talk in others, or in yourself, and you’ll find the kink in your business or career growth.

1. “That’s Impossible”

Unsuccessful people are always pointing out what is not possible. They look for the negative in every situation and why something will not work. They will see a business opportunity and look for every reason why it will fail rather than how it can work or benefit them. At work, they sit in boardroom meetings and shoot down every good, out-of-the-box thought or idea and would rather stick to how it has always been done. They lack vision and live in a world of impossibilities; they have a can’t-do attitude and they are sinking their own ship of success.

2. “I can do it by myself”

When you hear someone on your business team or a colleague at work insisting how they can finish a project or can build a business better without any help from other employees or partners, take note: That person is going to slow things down and is ruining the project or growth of his or her business. He or she will not create an atmosphere of success but has only his or her ambition in mind. Ironically enough, unsuccessful people are always those who push their own agenda and don’t see the value of teamwork or other ideas other than their own. That’s the very thing that ruins their career or business. Look for the help or ideas of a mentor or other colleagues to help you reach your goals.

3. “I have a problem with that”

Nitpickers never prosper. Have you ever worked with someone who would always find a problem and then over focus on it? Unsuccessful people will beat the problem to a pulp pointing the finger at any and everyone who could have caused it. They never look at themselves as being part of the problem. Furthermore, they don’t want to solve the problem at hand. Ideas and solutions will be turned down because they are only focused on the problem rather than the solutions. Either work to solve the problem or accept it. Continuing to harp on the issue at hand will only bring the business team or work atmosphere down.

4. “I like my own idea better”

Have you noticed how people at work or in business sometimes like only their own ideas? It is a sign of selfishness and shows an inability to embrace the team objective. Those who like and promote only their own ideas are severely limited, because none of us can achieve success with only our own ideas. Imagine trying to build a company by never entertaining any other ideas? Your company will only grow as far as you can think. We all need to receive differing ideas that we may not have thought about. Collaboration always propels a company forward. In this case, it can propel your career or business forward.

5. “Let me check my schedule first”

Ah, yes, the “I’m busy” syndrome! If someone always insists on checking his or her schedule for availability, that person is inhibiting their career or business success. It might be a valid excuse, but it could also be a way to avoid being helpful and taking action. In my experience, when someone is always referring to their schedule, it usually means that person is sending a message about being too busy. He or she says, “Let me check ‘my’ schedule” instead of figuring out how they can take the necessary action to accomplish a task or goal. Let’s face it, we are all busy doing something and we all have been granted 24 hours in a day. However, is what you are “so busy” doing getting you closer or further from your goals? Successful people know and understand how to prioritize their schedules so that they can accomplish the things that will help them get to their ultimate goal first, and then arrange to complete the other tasks. Sometimes, it’s better to just jump on an opportunity and worry about reorganizing your priorities and schedule later. Oftentimes, that opportunity that you are too busy for will come to you only once. You may have just missed out on what you were looking for because you were, “too busy!”

6. “You must be wrong about that”

This phrase is a red flag on the road to success because the person saying it is assuming the people he or she works with or partners with don’t know anything; the person believes there is only one “right” person, and it is them! That’s rarely the case. Instead, it’s a sign of success when you admit that you need help. It’s better to accept that others might be right about something and accept your own limitations. This allows for a culture of growth and transparency. Nobody is always right regardless of how many degrees they have. Admit when you are wrong or don’t know something and you will be more respected than if you act like you are the one who is always right.

7. “I can’t”

Unsuccessful people like to talk about what they can’t do. Starting a business or furthering your career means embracing the fact that there will be countless roadblocks and situations that come up that will seem like you can’t overcome them. Instead, talk about what you can do! People will tell you what is not possible, but when anyone starts using the word can’t, it means trouble. They have given up. Reprogram your mind to help you work around the roadblocks and situations by saying “how can I” instead of saying “I can’t.” This simple rephrasing of words will help you creative juices start flowing and help you come up with solutions to your challenges.

Success in your career or business is just as much about your thought process and speech patterns as it is doing the physical actions to reach your goals. Learn and develop a success thought pattern and speech that will give you the edge over being average to becoming successful. If you utilize the phrases and expressions that I have pointed out, you will separate yourself from the masses of mediocrity and fulfill the goals and visions for your career or business.

Quality Decisions 4 Success Nuggets

4 Success Nuggets That I Didn’t Learn in School

Growing up and going through grammar school, middle school, high school and even college for four years, there are certain things or 4 nuggets of success that I didn’t learn which are crucial to success in any industry. In all of my years of schooling, about 16 years worth, I had some great teachers who taught me many very valuable life lessons in addition to academics. However, there are key things that my teachers and coaches never taught me about success and achievement until I began being mentored by some very successful business men and women. I wanted to pass some of these hidden nuggets of success on to you! For those of you willing and open to learn, you can utilize these 4 success nuggets for your own use! Some of you may have already been taught these principles. If you have, then congratulations, I hope that they are working for you!

Nugget #1: Failure is positive

Failure is positive if you learn from it! In school, we are taught that a failing grade or getting something wrong is bad. The truth is, the only way to succeed in anything is to fail, learn, adjust and do it again. Any successful businessman, athlete, actor, etc will tell you that they failed more times than they succeeded. We only see the finished product and think that they never had any difficulties or hardships. We fail our way to success! Once you understand that concept, you should not have the fear of failing as long as you learn from it.

Nugget #2: People are key to your success

Have you ever heard of someone being “book smart” or “street smart?” Both can be and are important. However, what I have found is that as long as you know how and where to get the information, being book smart is a bit overrated. Today, with Google and other search engines, you can literally look up information on just about anything. Having people skills and getting along with others is crucial to you success. It isn’t so much what you know as it is who you know! There is no such thing as a “self-made” man or woman. We are the product of the people that we associate with and the books that we read. Yet, in school, it is all about the individual and their book smarts rather than truly learning how to work with others and encouraging them. I didn’t learn the “people skills” necessary to succeed by helping other people until I got connected with other successful business men and women who made their fortunes by helping and working with other people. Like the late Zig Ziglar said, “If you help enough people get what they want, you will get what you want.” Become good at dealing with people, it will be much more satisfying and easier for you to succeed.

Nugget #3: There are other ways to make money

Now I understand that every single person reading this comes from a different background and upbringing. Some of you reading this may have been taught or raised by your parents, etc. to have an entrepreneurial thought process and own your own business. My father has owned business all of my life. In school, I was taught to get a job. Not one of my teachers/professors ever recommended to start my own business. If anything, they always pointed out the negatives and great risks that you have to take to make it on your own in business. They preached get a job or “career” only. After graduating college, I did what they told me to do and got a job. I quickly learned that a job or career was only going to take me so far and I that was at the mercy of the company business owner to decide how much I would be paid and whether or not I got to keep my job. I don’t know about you, but I do not want my future to be in decided by someone else! What I learned is that you can make money multiple ways; through a job/career, owning your own brick and mortar business, or through a business system. A business system is powerful because you can duplicate yourself. Why is McDonald’s so profitable? It is not because they make the best burgers in town, but because virtually very city and town has a McDonald’s. Each store makes money and when you add it all up, McDonald’s makes billions of dollars. Imagine being able to have 100 of you going to different jobs and you get to keep the profit! That is the power of duplication. I didn’t learn that in school!

Nugget #4: Your thoughts and words are powerful

Probably the biggest nugget that I did not learn in school was how powerful our words and thoughts are. I did not learn how to control my thoughts and think positive. This is also known as having a positive mental attitude. There was no teaching about having positive expectations in my abilities or outcomes of situations; that it was all up to chance. What we think and speak about ourselves can either have a positive or negative impact on us. If you always say, like I did, that, “I am bad at Math,” then how do you expect to be good at Math. Instead, the teacher should have stopped me right there and corrected me and made me say that, “I am good at Math!” I have since learned that what I think and what I say about myself and others has an impact on my success. It is very difficult to succeed in a negative frame of mind. Have you ever seen or heard of someone saying that they are no good at something and then go out and become successful at the very thing they said they were not good at? Watch your words and your thoughts.

As I wrap up, I would like to thank all of my teachers and coaches for the positive influences that they have had on my life. The fact that I did not learn the above success nuggets in school does not necessarily mean that they did not want to teach them to me and my fellow students, but they may simply not have known these principles. I was very fortunate to have found the business team that has mentored me and changed my thought process and life for the better!

If you would like to learn more about our business team and what we do and teach, visit my Join a Winning Team page. This will help us to understand what you are looking for in a mentor and a business opportunity. Please understand that what we do is not for everyone. In fact, we really only want to work with serious, ambitious people who are truly looking to learn how to become successful, and are not looking for handouts! This may sound harsh, but I want to make sure that you know what you will be getting from us! I look forward to connecting with you.

Two Things You Can Control

2 Things Only You Can Control

Do you consider yourself a control freak? Do you know someone who is a control freak; who needs to be in control of everything? There are many people out there who want to control everything in their environment; both people and situations. They want to control things like: other people’s actions or feelings, whether they get the next sale at work, what other people think, etc. Throughout my years of being mentored by some very successful individuals, they have taught me that there are truly only TWO things only you can control:

Your Actions and your Attitude

1. Actions

Actions are pretty cut and dry. You either take action or you don’t! Taking action is a necessity if you want to succeed in anything. Without action, nothing happens. Only you are in control on whether you take action or not. You may be tired, sad, angry, happy, busy, etc, but are you taking action towards your goals? Taking action does not require talent, expertise, or ability, but it does require a determination and risk. Even if you don’t know what the results of your actions are, you will never know unless you take the action needed. Are you willing to take action with unknown circumstances and face unknown risks? Can you overcome the fear and doubt and make a move towards success? Nobody has ever succeeded that didn’t take action. Action is what separates the talkers from the doers. Be a doer and take action now!

2. Attitude

Our attitude is purely our own choice. No matter what people say or do to us, we have the decision of how we will react. We can look at any situation positively or negatively. The way our attitude is (positive or negative) will determine if we take action or what sort of action we take. When you have a positive attitude, the action you take will provide results. Having a positive attitude includes a positive expectation; that when you take some sort of action, good things will happen. Some people choose to just have a bad attitude about almost everything. You buy them a cake and they complain about the frosting. They get a raise and promotion and they complain about the increase in job responsibility. They could probably find ways to complain about winning the lottery! Positive and negative life events are going to happen whether we expect them or not. Our attitude determines how those events will affect us, whether positively or negatively. When you have a positive attitude you are able to find the silver lining in any situation. At times this may seem very difficult, but they are there if you have a great attitude to find it. Being positive does not come naturally to everyone. Most people have to work on having a positive attitude since we are bombarded everyday with the media and negative news stories. The best way to develop a positive attitude is to read self help and success books. These books will help you to change your thought process and start looking and speaking the best for your life. Begin today to work on your attitude. Remember, a positive attitude is key to your success!

Knowing the two things that you can ultimately control, your actions and attitude, will make your life a whole lot simpler. You no longer have to worry about the outcomes of situations or what other people think. You can’t control those things. Understanding what you can and can not control will enable you to live a much less stressful life and be happy. Work on your attitude and take action with a positive expectation that something good is going to happen. Become a doer and not just a talker and enjoy life.

If you are a positive, ambitious person who is looking to take action on your financial future, click here and we would love to connect with you and show you a great way to make money and control your time all while making a difference in the world!
