There is one thing for sure that will KEEP you broke and struggling in your Network Marketing business if you make this mistake! You see, in life and in business, you are either growing or dying. Sounds pretty extreme, huh? What I mean is that if you are educating yourself and understand that you don’t know it all, you can have an open mind and an open heart to receive valuable information that will help you to grow in all aspects of your life including your business.

If however, you or someone you know, feel like they already know everything to become successful in business, they will actually regress! You can lose all of the success habits and principles that have helped you to grow up to this point.

Your Attitude Towards Success & Wealthy People

Your attitude towards success and wealthy people as a whole can make or break your own success! Have you ever heard people talking at your job or in social settings about how they can’t believe someone is making so much money? Or how they feel that the only way someone becomes successful is if they mislead or scam somebody out of their money. Perhaps you have engaged in some of these conversations yourself!

What does how you feel towards successful people and success as a whole have to do with your success you may ask? The answer is everything! It is diffucult to become that which you despise or do not like. If you yourself want to become more successful or make more money at your job or in your business, how do you expect to do that and shun everyone else who is successful? You will be giving off a negative, repulsive energy that will not enable you to attract the right people into your life that will help you to become successful. It is a self-sabatoge of the mind!

Can You Convince People To Succeed?

I was asked a question by a someone in Network Marketing, “How can I convince or get the people on my business team to succeed?” The simple answer that I gave was that “You Can’t!”

Instead of just giving the simple answer, I wanted to elaborate on my answer of why you can’t convince others to succeed so I shot a video explaining how you can’t help those people who don’t want to be helped. If someone is too lazy or wants everything handed to them, and they are not willing to put in the work to succeed, there is nothing you can do for them.

However, there are three things that I feel are your responsibility as a leader that actually can assist people in succeeding. These are very important actions that all successful business owners do.

Money Making Activities in Network Marketing

So you just got stated in a Network Marketing business or you have been thinking about starting one. Maybe you have been involved in Network Marketing for some time now and are considered a grizzled veteran! In either case, there are a lot of distractions that can lead you off of your success highway which is to make money! I am making the assumption that you got involved in a home business to make money and have the ability to live a better lifestyle for you and your family both in finances and time.

So what are the potential “distractions” to the Network Marketer who is looking to make money in their business? Aside from the obvious distractions of working a job, or associating with friends/family who do not support you, there are distractions that are well meaning, but will not necessarily take you to the place of time and money freedom in your business. Here is what I mean-

Network Marketing is a business with a learning curve, and when we all get started in business, we are encouraged to read and listen to audios to help us learn the business as well as change our thought process to become an entrepreneur. These are things that any successful Network Marketing business professional should do! However, I see a lot of Network Marketers spend the majority of their time reading books and listening to audios to grow themselves (which is good), but they do not spend time performing the “Money Making Activities.”

You can listen to audios all day and be inspired, motivated, and learn the newest technique to do something, but your business will not grow. You will be a motivated person with a no business to speak of! You can also read every book on success and learn great people skills so that everyone likes you. If you only read books and don’t apply the “Money Making Activities,” you will be a well liked person with a small business!

There are 4 essential activities that you must do in order to have your business grow. Leave Your Baggage Behind

“The past doesn’t equal your future!” I had heard that saying many times before I finally really came to understand what it meant. When I did break it down in my mind, I came to realize just how important and powerful the phrase is! It is a statement and truth that many people either don’t understand, or they choose not to believe it.

We all come from different backgrounds, were raised in different parts of the world, and have different cultures. The one thing that we do have in common is our very own story and baggage. When I coach other Network Marketers and business owners, I find that a large majority of them bring their “baggage” into business with them. This can severely hinder their success. I break down what the statement “The past doesn’t equal your future!” means in the video below.

Are you carrying baggage around? Have you allowed your past failures to dictate the expectations for your business and your future? NOW is the time to let the baggage go, draw a line in the sand, and begin to create your future and leave your baggage behind!

The three things that all network marketers want for their business is more leads, more money, and to sponsor more reps. There are many skills and marketing methods to get all three in your business. In this post, I am going to talk about sponsoring more reps into your business. Particularly why you are not sponsoring more reps.

Success Principles 101

In May of 2014 I had the honor of being invited to be a co-host and participate in a “tweet chat” about Success Principles with Lynette Gilchrist of Young Dream Diggers. In this tweet chat, Lynette asks me some great questions on what Success Principles are and what it is that successful people do differently.

I wanted to share this chat with you so that you can learn what the Success Principles are. Once you understand what the principles are, you can then apply them to all aspects of your life, whether you are an entrepreneur or looking to advance your career. You can take the principles learned and improve every aspect of your life!

We also went on to discuss how successful people think differently than the majority of people. There are certain qualities and thought processes that successful people have learned. The great thing about success is that nobody is born successful, but that success is learned through using the principles discussed in the chat and then taking action! Isn’t that great news? No matter what you upbringing was or where you are now in your life, you can learn the principles and methods of successful people; You can become successful if you choose to!
